Requirements for pets in Arizona are mostly determined by certain factors; like whether your visiting or relocating and where your planning on going. There are laws that everyone must adhere to no matter if they are visiting or relocaing. While we list as a convenience some of the laws, we suggest that you inquire to official governement offices for additional requirements, fees or questions.
State Laws
A.R.S. §11-1008 delegated the autority for regulating the ownership of dogs and cats to the various Arizona counties, however there are some other state laws that you should be aware of, for example:

For Visitors
Arizona is a great state to visit with your pet, however as stated above, you should know the laws, requirement as well as any safety issues that might effect your visit.
You should have at least the following information with you, during your visit for all dogs over the age of three (3) months:
Current state Dog License
Current Rebies Vacanation Cerfificate
signed by a licensed Veterinarian containing the following
